The Story behind the penguin

For years my focus was on my career and not the one priority to me - finding a partner and having a family.  

I tried online dating an most of the dating sites with absolutely no luck.  One thing I found was that there is no way of really knowing who you are going to meet, once you actually get asked out; a person can say and make themselves out to be anyone they want to be.

In 2017 I came up with a concept to add an extra layer of validation - video testimonials from friends and family, speaking on my behalf, describing me in THEIR words.  I knew this was going to take work, as it's a big ask of one's network to make a video on my behalf.  I tabled the idea for some time and continued (horrible) dating.  

Finally in 2020, after my industry (live events) was decimated by Covid, I stopped putting my priorities to the wayside and decided to focus on my idea.  And that's when penguins came into the picture, as they mate for life.  

Finding Your Penguin is a way to change how we date.  No algorithms, no smoke and mirrors, just you, as told by your friends, family, loved ones and colleagues.
